Dreamscenes are probably a little outdated, but I always wanted to make one. So I combined my Apophysis, Photoshop and After Effects skills to make this unbelievably sleek animated wallpaper.
Install instructions: 1. Download the DreamScene Activator for W7: [link] 2. Open it and turn it on 3. Download the ZIP file for my animation 4. Extract the ZIP file 5. Right-click the ''Impulse Dreamscene - 1920 x 1080.wmv'' file and click on "Set as Desktop Background'' Enjoy!
I just learned how to enable DreamScene for Windows 7 today and then did some browsing for more scenes here on DA. I'm SO GLAD yours shows up in the link. Simple, beautiful, and not annoying. More, more!
Do you have the JPG files that originally built this? I have no clue on how to break down a WMV into it's individual frames. I downloaded an automated windows script that takes the images, does all the coding for me and tosses them into an APK and signs them too. If you have those, that would be great if you can send them to me in a note.
No, there are no individual JPG files, though I could render each of the individual frames into a JPG sequence. I would rather do it myself though Could I have the link to the script?
Thanks a lot. I managed to transform it into an APK, but since I have rendered the images at a high resolution (720x1280) for my phone, the wallpaper crashes.
I'll try it again with a lower resolution and I'll let you know.
